Lynne Fitzgerald

Lynne Fitzgerald is a celebrated Liverpool actress, writer, and director, best known for creating the hit comedy quartet Desperate Scousewives. She has written over ten stage plays and performed in many acclaimed touring productions across the UK, including Twopence to Cross the Mersey and By the Waters of Liverpool. A former stand-up comedian, Lynne is admired for her impeccable timing and expressive comedy style. Her work captures the heart, humour, and spirit of Merseyside life. A true powerhouse of northern theatre, she continues to entertain audiences with her wit, warmth, and authenticity.


Crissy Rock

Best known as one of the stars of ITV1's hit series 'Benidorm' and a multi award winner, Crissy Rock is better known to her fans as one of the most outstanding and outrageous stand up comedians of her generation. From her hilarious routines directed at useless partners (well, men in general) to her journey through the onset of middle age, Crissy’s non-stop blasts of comedy brilliance hit the right note every time.


Lynn Francis

Lynn has worked extensively in theatre and mostly at the Liverpool Royal Court, playing various roles:- Brenda in “Ladies day”, Mo in “The Royal" Mandy in "Mam I’m Here”, Annie Fields in “Reds and Blues", Carol in “Yellow Breck Road", Molly in “Haunted Scouse", Nan in “Netherly Hillbillies" Nan in “Anfield Apocalypse" to name but a few. Lynn has toured playing Mother in Helen foresters “By The Waters of Liverpool” ,other plays include "Waiting For Gateau", plus many panto’s over the years, Lynn has also played various roles in Desperate Scousewives and is delighted to be reprising her role as Tricia in the first UK tour.


Sam Alton

Samantha is a Liverpudlian actress who’s been acting professionally since 2013. Though the majority of her credits come from stage, she’s also; filmed for TV commercials, corporate, short films & pilots, recorded voiceover work for Audio plays/ animation and more recently, started standup comedy. Sam is delighted to be returning to the stage, touring as Desperate Scousewife ‘Nessa’ alongside co-star, writer and director Lynne Fitzgerald after playing the role in recent years (2024). Other notable recent credits include; Leading lady ‘Annie’ in Irish Annie’s (UK Tour, 2025), ‘Louise’ in Under The Mersey Moon (2025), ‘Helena’ in Hammer & Helena (2024), Ruby in Buckled (2024), ‘Fiona’ in By The Waters Of Liverpool (UK Tour, 2023)and ‘Kitty’ (Catherine Wilkinson) in Kitty, Queen of the Washhouse (2019-2024).

Bill Elms
Producer

Bill Elms has worked in the theatre industry both locally and nationally for 35 years, including 20 years working with the UK’s biggest theatre companies in ticketing and marketing positions. Bill has co-produced many successful productions including Epstein: The Man Who Made The Beatles, Jerry Springer -The Opera, Irish Annie’s, Something About Simon, Something About George, Something About Lennon, Twopence to Cross the Mersey, By The Waters Of Liverpool, Lennon’s Banjo, The Ruby Slippers, Blood Runs Deep and Twice Nightly. Bill has also set-up his own theatrical production company Bill Elms Productions presenting shows such as Masquerade by Laura Lees, Swan Song by Jonathan Harvey, 2Gorgeous4U by Mark Davies Markham and Judy & Liza Musical by Emma Dears.
